Our piano key was stuck!

I was just starting to play and I notice the very low C on the piano was stuck. I wasn’t able to press it down! So I called Scott down to have a look and he said he took the keyboard action out of the piano in piano tech class when he was a student.

We carefully removed everything and he unscrewed the side blocks, and pulled out the keyboard halfway. It turned out there was a small piece of eraser that fell under the low C to prevent the action! We looked around our place trying to find something that can help us push the erase out, and finally I went to the kitchen and found a bamboo skewer stick! So then I carefully reached the eraser, and instead of pushing it out, it actually worked better to stick it in the erase and pull it out! See the pictures below for the story line! 😂😂
