Pique Magazine Interview

Our magazine interview article is out! So exciting! Thank you to Whistler Chamber Music Society for the invitation to present our music in their series. Special thanks to Alyssa Noel from the Whistler Pique Newsmagazine for the wonderful article on what we have been doing and how we made the best out of the pandemic.

When Alyssa called for the interview, Alyssa right away told us she remembers us from our interview back in 2018 with the Pique Magazine because she was also the one who interviewed us! (See picture below! We have it framed on the wall!) It felt more like a nice friendly catching-up chat than a serious interview. We talked about how we had the idea to start weekly live-streaming concerts (which we continued for 22 weeks in a row!). Back then, when everything was shut down and everyone was asked to stay at home, we understood how difficult it was for some people. So we wanted to do our part for the society and provide some entertainment to help everyone to pass some time with music! Then after each concert, we had a live chat at the end so we could connect with our audience. It was a great time!

Oh yes, one thing we would like to point out is that the Canada National Arts Grant mentioned in the article was for only the second weekly concert, so you will only be able to find that specific concert we did on their platform!

We also talked about Scott’s new arrangement skills and now he has nearly 100 arrangements, our trip to Asia in late 2019, and our program to present at Whistler!
